INPRIMAT results presented at EFI2005 Meeting

Gaby Doxiadis and Annemiek Rouweler (BPRC) presented a poster entitled “Drb analysis of different non-human primate species by Denaturing Gradient Gel Electrophoresis (DGGE)” at Istanbul (Turkey) during the 19th European Immunogenetics & Histocompatibility Conference, celebrated the 23-26 April 3005.

Xavier Domingo (IRTA) presented a poster entitled "inPRIMAT : Infrastructure to Promote the Molecular Biology of Primates" at the 10th Human Genome Meeting, in Kyoto (Japan), celebrated the 18th and 21th April 2005.

INPRIMAT organised, together with the American IPBIR intiative, a symposium in the IPS2004 in Torino

The symposium titled "Towards a Global Strategy for Primate Genetic Resources Management", chaired by Hans Zischler, brought together researchers from America, Africa, Asia and Europe sharing experiences in management of genetic resources in primates. On behalf of INPRIMAT, Mike Bruford, Ann-Charlotte Rönn and Xavier Domingo presented three oral communications.

Amy Roeder and Mike Bruford (UWC) presented a poster and an oral presentation entitled "Research Infrastructure to Promote Primate Molecular Biology: INPRIMAT" and "Molecular Genetics and Management of Captive Primates" at the Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, in Devon (United Kingdom) during the PSGB (Primate Society of Great Britain) Spring Meeting 2004, celebrated the 29th and 30th March 2004.

Symposium accepted for the 20th IPS2004 Congress (Torino, Italy)

A symposium entitled "Towards a Global Strategy for Primate Genetic Resources Management" proposed by the INPRIMAT consortium has been approved by the IPS2004 Scientific Committee. This symposium will be organised by INPRIMAT and IPBIR (Integrated Primate Biomaterials and Information Resource). The 20th IPS2004 Congress (International Primatological Society) will take place in Torino (Italy), from the 22nd to the 28th of August 2004.

INPRIMAT project presented in the Vth APE Congress 2003

Olga Andrés and Xavier Domingo presented a poster with the first project results in Valencia (Spain) during the Vth Congress of the APE (the Spanish Primatology Association), celebrated from the 17th to the 19th September 2003.
