INPRIMAT is a research project supported by the European Commission led by seven European institutions in primatology and molecular biology. These institutions are joining efforts to build an European network to establish a phylogenetic broad collection of primate tissues and derivatives of all infraorders of primates.
Databases Samples
This section is divided in 3 different parts:
Collections
A broad bank of biological material of non-human primates (tissues, nucleic acids, cell lines, FISH probes).
Microsatellites
Sequences of non-human primate microsatellites and flanking regions.
mtDNA sequences
A database containing non-human primate mitochondrial DNA sequences including complete genomes, complete genes and partial sequences.
INPRIMAT aims to offer a complete bank of non-human primate biological material to facilitate European scientific research. Most of the specimens from Collections Database are available under request. In order to increase the number and variety of the specimens of the bank, submissions from collaborators are continuously needed. In this section, researchers will find all the information and forms necessary to carry out their orders and/or submit material in an easy way.
